Welcome to my first blog post! It is wild to think back on how I got here but I am so happy I did. 4 months ago, I graduated from Syracuse University online and entered one of the hardest job markets. I have known for a while that I wanted to pursue a career in the beauty industry post-graduation, but with many companies laying off employees and implementing hiring freezes, I wanted to take the time to focus on what makes me happy and something that I truly care about.
Since I was young, I have always loved all things fashion and beauty. When I was in 5th grade, I begged my parents to get me a hair straightener (thinking back on it now, I can’t believe my parents trusted me with a hot tool at 10 years old). Throughout middle school, I went through a sewing phase and designed many pieces. I even started a company with my twin sister Lauren where we would cut and sew custom college apparel (@twintees). In high school and college, my love for makeup grew tremendously as I found myself following and watching beauty Youtubers do what they love everyday. Now I’m in a position to begin my adventure by sharing my love of fashion and beauty with others. Hope you enjoy!
